"I am an integrative counsellor, which means I draw on both the person-centred and psychodynamic approaches to counselling. I believe the past, especially our relationship (or lack of relationship) with our parents/caregivers, shapes the person we are today."
I am a member of British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
As your counsellor I aim to provide a safe space for us to work through your issues, recognising and changing unhelpful beliefs with a view to helping you towards becoming your best self.
I believe like a phoenix we all have the ability to rise from the ashes and it helps to have a counsellor who you feel is really in your corner.
You are unique and one size doesn’t fit all so I draw on elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique and Gestalt therapy to help you tackle the issues that getting in the way of your happiness and are stopping you from living your best life.
No one should have to suffer in silence and no one is beyond help if they are willing to work at it.
You may be struggling with loneliness or surrounded by people but want someone who really listens, and that’s what I'm here for.
In addition to that if you are committed, I will be committed to helping you to understand yourself better, empowering you to face your issues head on and putting you on the path towards becoming your best self!
