At times life can be challenging, and it can be very helpful to have a safe space to share what that feels like and explore how to respond to that.
Of course, I am aware that this is not an easy process, so it is my priority to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic space. The goal is to help clients develop a deeper understanding of the challenges they face, make healthier life choices, and become more authentic in their relationships with themselves and others.
My experience includes over 25 years of working with individuals and groups in highly specialised mental health services, charities, and private practice.
I support clients with the following presenting issues: ongoing challenging interactions with significant others, stress, anxiety, negative thinking, low self-esteem, loneliness, trauma, deliberate self-harming behaviours, suicidal thoughts, personality difficulties, bullying, feeling misunderstood and unappreciated, difficulty expressing or managing anger, addictive behaviours, unhealthy boundaries, and struggling to find purpose in life or have meaningful life goals.
My practice is based on an integrative clinical model, drawing key references from Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Person Centred Therapy and Mentalisation Based Treatment. The aim is to create a therapeutic space that is tailored to your specific needs.
I practice in English and Greek.
I am also a supervisor of other therapists and a clinical member of the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy).
