"I am an Integrative psychotherapist with over 10 years' experience helping people with range of issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, health, family or relationship issues."
I hold a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling, an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and a degree in Psychology and Social Studies.
The main theories I integrate include Existential/Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Attachment, Behavioural, CBT and Person-Centred modalities. My work is trauma-informed.
My approach combines a variety of therapeutic methods to offer you personalised care, tailored to your individual needs and your particular personal situation.
I offer a safe, calm, gentle, thoughtful, non-judgmental, and compassionate space where you can discuss your current concerns and the life experiences that have brought you to where you are today.
We will make sense together of the areas of your life which are causing stress, anxiety, tension, confusion and help to untangle some of the negative factors that are playing a part.
We may consider, your behaviour: how you look after your own mental health, mood, and well-being. We can explore your personal and professional relationships to see if your boundaries are serving you well and discover ways to strengthen yourself in relation to others.
We may also look back at your childhood to examine family dynamics, any adverse childhood experiences including abuse or bullying, re-evaluating any internalised messages about yourself that might still affect you.
You might need time and space to process loss, trauma, or unresolved experiences from your past. If you’re feeling stuck, lost, or confused about your sense of direction or purpose, we can clear the path together and find a way forward to you feeling better about your relationships, your past, your current situation, and your future.
Each new client I work with brings a new story – their own story – and I am privileged to be invited into this journey for a time. Together, we can explore and navigate the way for you to find a better place within yourself.
