"I offer a warm, friendly and confidential space for you to talk through any problems you may be facing and help you make sense of things. I will support you in gaining a better understanding of yourself whilst supporting you with the changes you wish to make."
If you want to feel differently, and wish for a happier and more fulfilled life, exploring your difficulties through counselling and psychotherapy can lead to helping you powerfully and profoundly.
I believe that all of us at some point in our lives experience difficulties, it may be due to a painful event such as bereavement, relationship problems or a more generalised feeling of low self-esteem, depression or anxiety. Sometimes sharing difficult feelings with friends or family doesn't seem like an option for fear of judgement or shame, struggling alone may not enable a positive resolution.
I am regularly checked with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
I am a registered member of the BACP. The BACP is the largest professional body representing counsellors and psychotherapists in the UK. They set the standards, values, and ethical guidelines for counsellors and Psychotherapists. I am committed to regular continuing professional development to keep me up to date with current practice. These affiliations mean that I am fully qualified and work to a strict code of ethics and practice.
I have also worked in psychotherapeutic contexts in the NHS, community organisations, educational institutions, and charitable organisations such as St Mungo’s and Mind.
I am an experienced group facilitator and hold therapeutic workshops to external organisations in the private sector.

"Antony is AMAZING!!!! Where to even begin... for starters, if you're new to therapy and possibly have some anxiety or nerves about talking to a complete stranger- you're not alone. I am 28 and have never had therapy before. I had no idea what to expect and my nerves were completely shot. It took all about 5 mins to warm up to Antony when I first spoke with him over Zoom. And in person? An even warmer person if you can imagine. I tell this guy everything and he's only been my therapist for about 3 months now. Crazy! It feels like I've known him for ages.
You will, without a shadow of a doubt feel the same way. Antony is incredibly kind, offering a safe place for people to land. He is understanding, non-judgmental, listens and then provides thoughtful responses. He has an incredibly calming voice that makes you instantly feel reassured. Most importantly, he genuinely cares about the emotional and physical well-being of his patients. This guy not only has a heart of gold, but he will give 110% to each session and every one of your sessions. Strongly recommend!!! You won't be disappointed."
