Your first appointment usually lasts 90 minutes. This is a chance to talk about your issues and discuss information such as your medical history and lifestyle. 
 
A step-by-step guide to your hypnotherapy session 
 
We treat every client as an individual, so these steps may vary depending on your treatment plan: 
 
1. Feel comfortable and get to know your therapist during your settling-in session. It is an opportunity to ask questions and for your therapist to discover more about your challenges. 
 
2. Relax as your therapist leads you into a state of deep relaxation known as induction. 
 
3. Once you are in a deep state of relaxation, your therapist will begin your treatment by using evidence-based hypnotherapy techniques that focus on the areas of your life that you are struggling with. 
 
4. Afterwards, your therapist will slowly bring you out of the deep hypnotic state of relaxation to full wakefulness. 
 
5. You can expect to feel very calm and relaxed after the session. This is a great time ask questions and discuss your next session.
